Tons of Tony Bennett’s artwork is being auctioned off. Here are the hottest items

Collectors will soon have the chance to own a piece of jazz history. Julien’s Auctions, which specializes in celebrity and music memorabilia sales, is hosting Tony Bennett — The Art of Benedetto, a two-day auction of Tony Bennett’s artwork.

Bennett, now 88, has over 70 albums and 20 Grammy Awards. Besides working with Lady Gaga and interpreting the Great American Songbook, he’s also an accomplished artist. He’s sketched or painted nearly every day of his life, in fact.

The auction runs September 17–18, 2026, in Los Angeles, with both in-person and online bidding available. The sale brings together upwards of 180 original paintings and drawings created by Tony Bennett himself. Registration is currently open through Julien’s Auctions.

Julien’s Auctions Sales Specialist Morgan Whoolsey said that Lot 3 Double-Sided Still Life with Fruit Watercolor Drawing is “a gem of this sale.”

“This piece is interesting because it illustrates Bennett’s working process,” Whoolsey said. “On the back side he depicts the fruit from various angles and also considers the placement of the tableware in relation to the fruit for the final drawing executed on the other side.”
