Original props from the 1966 Star Trek series, used directly by William Shatner’s Captain Kirk, surfaced in 2024 after decades with no documented trail. The items came from a veteran Hollywood prop collector who reportedly acquired them from a Paramount employee, and once authenticated against the original series footage, they sold at auction for a price expected to land between $100,000 and $200,000.
