Simple Air Fryer Chicken Breasts

Air frying chicken breast is how I get that pan-seared, chicken flavor without dealing with oil splatter or a sink full of dishes. The air fryer cooks it evenly and keeps it juicy, and gives it a nice sear on the outside, which is really all I care about when it comes to chicken breast. I like to use a simple seasoning mix of paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and a little salt and pepper. It’s a simple way to make chicken that actually turns out well, and it’s one of those recipes I come back to because it just works.

Air Fryer Coconut Shrimp

Air Fryer Coconut Shrimp recipe ready in 20 mins, large shrimp dipped in coconut flake and panko breadcrumbs, and air fried until crispy on the outside.

I started making coconut shrimp in the air fryer because I wanted that crispy coating without dealing with a pot of hot oil. They come out golden and crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and I don’t have to guard myself from oil splashes. I like serving them as an appetizer with sweet chili sauce, but they’re also great tossed on top of a garden salad or in tacos. The air fryer makes making coconut shrimp at home so much easier.

Air Fryer Baked Potato

Did you know you can make baked potatoes in the air fryer? The air fryer is basically a mini oven anyway, and I like making the baked potatoes in there when I don’t want to heat up my whole house. The air fryer creates the most crispy potato skin with a fluffy, pillowy middle that’s ready for all the butter and toppings like sour cream, cheese, and chives.

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Easy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries with simple spices and no cornstarch. Crispy outside, tender inside, and cooked in under 15 minutes.

I used to make sweet potato fries in the oven and honestly thought that was as good as it gets. Then I started making air fryer sweet potato fries, and now I don’t even debate it. I’ve made this version so many times over the years that I don’t measure the spices anymore. I still have that moment when I pull the sweet potato fries out of the air fryer, and they are all crispy, and I am just in awe… like I’m surprised every time how well they turn out, but I already really know they are great. It’s just sliced sweet potatoes tossed with olive oil, salt, and a few spices. That’s it. Plus, when I use the air fryer to make sweet potato fries, I don’t have to soak the potatoes or use cornstarch. The oven version really needs that extra help to crisp up, but the air fryer does the work on its own. They really come out crispy on the outside, tender in the middle, and I usually have to stop myself from eating half the batch straight from the basket.

Air Fryer Vegetables

This air fryer vegetable recipe is full of Brussels sprouts, bell peppers, squash & onions – an easy veggie dish to pair with any protein!

I love throwing vegetables in my air fryer! I’ve done Air Fryer Broccoli, Air Fryer Asparagus, Air Fryer Green Beans and so many more! And sometimes at the end of the week, I just have a hodgepodge of random vegetables so that’s when I put them all in the air fryer together to cook at once. You can use any vegetables you like, but the combo here is one of my favorites – red bell peppers, yellow squash, Brussels sprouts, and onions.
