10. The Beatles – Yesterday and Today (Butcher Cover)

Few album covers have achieved the notoriety of the Beatles’ original “Butcher Cover.” Released in 1966, the artwork featured the band posing with raw meat and dismembered dolls, sparking controversy almost immediately.

Capitol Records quickly recalled the album and replaced the cover. As a result, surviving original copies have become some of the most sought-after Beatles collectibles.

4. The Sex Pistols – God Save the Queen (A&M Pressing)
