Shilin, China’s Gravity-Defying “Stone Forest” 

The Stone Forest, or Shilin, is a magnificent and unique geological phenomenon located in Yunnan Province, China. Spanning a vast area, this karst landscape is famous for its towering, bizarrely-shaped limestone formations that looks like a vast forest of stone.

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Shilin is not only a natural marvel but is also steeped in the culture and legends of the local Sani people, making it one of China’s most popular and visually striking attractions.
