Women know they’re under-compensated. The current pay gap in the United States is roughly 20 percent, so it’s not surprising that a 2019 survey conducted by InHerSight found that 51 percent of women say they are unsatisfied with their pay.
The Institute for Women’s Policy Research projects that most states are at least decades away from closing the pay gap and the United States as a whole won’t likely see pay equality for more than a century.
There are, however, some companies where women report being satisfied with their pay.
InHerSight’s salary satisfaction score measures women’s satisfaction with their salary, merit increases, cost-of-living adjustments, and overall compensation. Companies with reviews from at least 50 current or former employees were eligible for this list.

The top-two companies where women report highest salary satisfaction are new to this list in 2019: Rapid Response Monitoring and Ultimate Software.

Tech companies comprise more than 50 percent of the 2019 list, compared to just 35 percent of last year’s list.

Forty-five percent of the companies are new to the list in 2019. Household names Netflix, Delta, and LinkedIn making their debut here.
