GDPR Privacy Rights
At MediaFeed, which is owned by Amalgamated Unlimited, LLC., we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This page explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how you can exercise them.
Who This Applies To
These rights apply to users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If you access MediaFeed from one of these regions, you are entitled to certain data protection and privacy rights.
Your Privacy Rights Under GDPR
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
1. Right to Access
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy of that information.
2. Right to Rectification
If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct or update it.
3. Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”)
You can request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, if the data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, or if you withdraw consent.
4. Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to ask us to temporarily suspend processing your personal data if you want us to verify its accuracy or the reason for processing.
5. Right to Data Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller.
6. Right to Object
You can object to the processing of your personal data if you believe we are using it for purposes not compatible with the reasons it was originally collected, including for direct marketing.
7. Right to Withdraw Consent
If we process your personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal.
8. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights under the GDPR have been violated.
9. Rights Regarding Automated Decision-Making
We do not currently use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you. If this changes, you have the right to object to such processing.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To make a request regarding any of your GDPR rights, please contact us at: [email protected]
We may need to verify your identity before responding to ensure your data is protected. We aim to respond to all valid requests within one month.
Data Transfers Outside the EU/EEA
MediaFeed may process and store data outside of the European Economic Area. When we do so, we use appropriate safeguards—such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)—to ensure that your personal data remains protected in accordance with GDPR requirements.
